I worried these would be too short or too hot for my 50+ year old, pear-shaped body. I usually wear a US 10 and buy LNDR in Large. The shorts are great. I like the light compression all day and love that the waistband stays put through yoga and floor pilates. This helps me feel strong, focusing on the workout and not the waistband rolling down or shorts climbing up. And the thicker material has not been too hot for the 90 degree summer days or workouts. I love the pockets on Fatal Attraction, my favorite LNDR leggings, my favorite of any brand.

I love these shorts but I have a smaller waist and bigger glutes so under the wrong lighting they are not squat proof.
I would love a curvy version where they had xs waist with the hips of the small. I bought a pair of the small and I still like them but they lose the compression unfortunately. If between sizes go with the obsession as they are thicker but if you fall in the size guide range these shorts are absolutely fantastic
